I made a few resolutions to upgrade myself regularly. Yeah, I used to plan and visualize my goal. However, I noticed, some of my goals in life were not a piece of cake to achieve! I wondered why and started to reflect personally.
Losing weight is one of my regular targets. Despite three years of non-successful trying, it remains the top of my wish list. I dug out to find any relevant factor contributing to my delayed success of losing weight.
I have learned many things throughout this journey. You name it – mind programming, a different type of exercise, trying out a variety of diet and attempting a various type of healthy recipes.
Mastering the knowledge isn’t sufficient without committing with consistent. Yes, consistency. A constant effort to adopt a healthy lifestyle and to change an entrenched habit. It’s like uninstall current software in your brain, and reinstall a new compatible software to transform into a new you.
In Surah Al-Imran, Allah said, ” O you who believe, persevere and endure and remain stationed, and fear Allah so that you may prosper”.
A daily routine of saying positive words to my prefrontal cortex is a must habit. It is essential to install conscious intention and thought in my brain to be processed as an instruction for my body to work towards it.
